KimBigGrowing up in Southern Utah, my father raised us camping and vacationing in wilderness areas. We typically frequented the lesser-known mountain areas, which meant they seldom had running water and we were lucky if there was a pit toilet within walking distance. I didn’t know campgrounds had showers until I was an adult. I put myself through college working in places like Bryce Canyon National Park and for wilderness therapy programs and adventure therapy programs.  It was here that I broadened my outdoor skills. I enjoy traveling, backpacking, kayaking, canyoneering, running, reading and experimenting in the kitchen
